The sleeping soldier

A bit south of Tromsø you can find a mountain that is named «The sleeping Soldier» as the shape resembles a soldier lying on his back sleeping. To the left you can see the shape of the helmet partially covering his eyes. The nose is tiny. Probably an injury after a battle. The mouth is partially open and the chin is finalizing the view of the soldiers face.

The original name is «Blåtinden» or «Blue peak». This photo was taken in the dark period in the north when the sun is balow the horizon for 2 months. The arctic light is beautiful!
